EUR Quality and Class Standards

CPI follows the EPAL associations recommendation for quality classifications, which serve to optimize the use and exchange of EPAL/EUR pallets.

New Pallet Specifications

Features

  • ISPM 15 / IPPC
  • Chamber-dried
  • 800 x 1,200 x 144 mm
  • Guaranteed nominal load: 1,500 kg
  • Max. 22% residual moisture content
  • All bottom boards are chamfered on both sides
  • All 4 corners are chamfered at an angle of 45°

    • Criteria

  • No signs of use
  • Light in color
  • EPAL marking on all 4 corner blocks
  • IPPC marking (HT)

    • Grade A Pallets

    Criteria

  • Light blonde to dark blonde
  • Signs of use, but no contamination
  • At least 1 legible EUR/EPAL stamp
  • At least 1 legible HT stamp

    • Grade B Pallets

    Criteria

  • Dark gray to light gray in color
  • Signs of use
  • Some splitting of wood acceptable
  • At least 1 legible EUR/EPAL stamp
  • At least 1 legible HT stamp
